Dojo Chattanooga Training Tips

Dojo Chattanooga offers instruction in Five Animal Kenpo, Wing Chun Kung-fu, and Fencing. We also offer Fitness Kickboxing and Warrior Fit (old school strength training with kettlebell, indian clubs, medicine ball, rope.) This blog is to pass along training tips to our students and others who find the information of use. Dojo is owned by Trevor Haines who has been training in the martial arts since 1977 and instructing since 1986.

Warrior Fit: Squeeze for Power


Squeeze. Squeeze the grip of the kettlebell.  Squeeze the glutes.  Squeeze the mats with your toes that are grabbing the earth for dear life.  Squeeze those abs so your core is locked in.  Want more power? Squeeze it out!
